Vivian Cheng, age 26, will be forever remembered as a sweet, gentle, and compassionate young woman. Her family and friends would describe her as caring, patient, spontaneous, creative, adventurous, and ambitious. Her passion for nursing was very fitting. Vivian's selfless and gracious qualities, along with her innate determination to succeed, made her a paradigm of what a nurse should be.  She never settled for anything less than perfection, and devoted her life to helping others less fortunate.

Vivian left an undeniable impact in the lives of her beloved family, friends, and even strangers. We are all blessed to have had the chance to know and love her, as she had loved us. Even though her time with us was brief, she will always live on in our hearts and memories. Her footprints will remain with us forever and a day.

"I've realized myself to be someone that will put others before myself. I am the person that will put everything aside, even if I'm having the worst day so that I can be there for someone I care about... I care about the little things that have sentimental value.

I have come to realize that is who I am. I have faith in love and happiness and even though I have been hurt and even caused hurt in the past, I have not changed my beliefs. I am a person who knows what I want. Maybe I'm a little too nice sometimes and maybe people will try to take advantage of my good nature, but I believe that we all deserve to be happy. Life is too short to go by someone else's rules. I am who I am."
